Viewpoint Forum is our proprietary panel and Internet platform through which all our Internet research occurs. Through our survey development tools we consistently create and field some of the most complex Internet research surveys in the industry. The panel approach differs from other Internet research techniques in that an Internet panel concerns itself with the implementation of rules and standards for panel participation, survey completion, response rates and continual development. Typically, Internet panels achieve much higher response rates than other Internet research techniques given their commitment to panel maintenance and respondent cooperation.
The Viewpoint Forum research panel consists of participants across the United States who agreed to complete research surveys for us via the web. The panel consists of members recruited via multiple methods so as to ensure broad representation. Recruitment methods include phone, in-person, web and email. All recruitment is conducted in accordance with CASRO rules for participation. As a result of our commitment to maintenance, validation, and recruitment, Viewpoint Forum achieves some of the highest recovery rates and quickest turnarounds in the industry. Recovery rates consistently exceed 60%.
Among the many benefits of conducting research via Viewpoint Forum is the ability for our research panelists to complete surveys when and where it's convenient for them. In the absence of an interviewer the panelist is free to respond as honestly as they wish, without the pressures or biases sometimes associated with the research survey experience. In fact, open-ended questions will often yield more in-depth, quality results when conducted via the Internet versus other methodologies.
At Viewpoint Forum we strive to build relationships with our respondents. Viewpoint Forum currently collects over 100 points of profiling information on each of our research panelists. This level of targeting allows us the ability to survey very specific, low-incidence groups quickly via the panel.
